Introducing the iInternship 2.0, now with Farmville!
Nope, no secrets being revealed here. One glorious day the project I’m working on will be released and I can finally say “Hey! I haven’t just been sitting on my ass doing nothing these past few years!” But alas, for now there will be an empty space in my portfolio.
I love work, but work is tough and sometimes I wish I had enough energy left in the day to redo my website, practice sketching, and catch up on some reading. What is nice, however, is to finally have the luxury of leaving work at work. No more staying up to the wee hours in studio or panicking at the thought of not working on the weekends. Also, no table saws.
Only a different note. During our intern training, the HR person (in regards to Jony Ive) mentioned that last year there were interns who swooned obsessively over the thought of him. Yeah…..so…..that was me. In lieu of seeing him I prepared my question a week in advance, arrived one hour early, and may or may not have spent extra long that morning fixing my outfit and hair. A girl can dream.
